The new Twenty~4 honors the original with an exclusive bracelet featuring gently cambered central links framed by delicate two-tier outside links and a brilliant diamond bezel. The beveled, diamond-set bezel is an elaborate construction that echoes the profile of the central bracelet links at 12 and 6 o'clock, emphasizing the harmony of the overall design. It works harder, though, to outmatch the abilities of timepieces desired by collectors today. Evolving with the times, it trades a quartz movement for a self-winding mechanical caliber, a warmly welcomed adjustment. The beating heart inside of the new Twenty~4 is visible through the sapphire-crystal case back, displaying hours, minutes, and sweep seconds. In a small aperture at the 6 o'clock mark, the date is viewable in a highly-legible font. The time is indexed by Arabic numerals, similar to those displayed on the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time (ref. 7234R).
